Courtenay, BC

The lush, fertile Comox Valley included the communities of Courtenay, Comox, Cumberland, as well as the adjacent islands of Denman and Hornby. Museums, galleries, and fabulous shopping attract visitors to the area, while the mountains, hiking trails, and surging rivers lure them from it.

Explore history’s riches at the Courtenay & District Museum & Paleontology Centre. Discover the fossilized remains of an 80 million-year old elasmosaur.
